Under the name of Citrus Racing.
We are Syracuse University’s fully student-run Formula SAE team. Each year, we design and build small-scale formula cars to compete internationally at FSAE Michigan in design, finance, and performance categories. The competition is the excuse; the passion is the reason.
New members aren’t expected to have any prior experience. We’ve come to know, as will you, that it’s not the past one brings that defines them; it’s the work that they’re willing to put in today, tomorrow, and the next to become something better.
To the engineers, businessmen, and artists of the future — we’ll help you take the next steps in a trial-by-fire startup environment. Unlike many other teams: we are truly, fully student-run. Our advisors are available for optional consultation, but they will let you fail – if that is what you need. Your designs will go on these cars, and your decisions will impact every team to come. There are no safety resets; only tactical pivots.
